What they're saying...

"Thank you for two wonderful performances on November 23 at our school!  The children and the staff thoroughly enjoyed the music and the dancing.  It was a fabulous way to kick off our celebration of the country of Mexico this year."

Dear Alda, Peter, and everyone from Mexico Beyond Mariachi!
You will be receiving a formal thank you from Midori & Friends, but as festival organizer (with Michele, whose been your contact) I wanted to drop you a personal email thanking you for doing such an exceptional job. Everyone delighted in your performance with the students of PS 42; I heard so many good things from the audience...and of course the children's smiles (both in the audience and on stage) were the greatest testimony to your work. I know everyone was thrilled you could participate this year.   So again, much appreciation for contributing your artistry and talents to this year's festival. And hats off to the beautiful work you did with the children! They had a very special experience which would not have happened without you!     All good wishes,
Margaret Midori & Friends

ABSECON – It definitely wasn’t siesta time at the H. Ashton Marsh School Tuesday, Nov. 23.

The five-member musical Mexico Beyond Mariachi Company kept the students’ rapt attention while sneaking bits of knowledge about our neighbors to the south right past their ears and into their brains. Presented by Young Audiences, a nonprofit organization in Princeton, the company entertains while it educates, taking the stage for a fast-moving, memorable and happy hour.
